![]() ![]() ⚡ Content warning No condom/ No safety talk/ No mention of birthcontrol. □ Steam level: 1/5 1 foreplay scene and 1 sex scene, both lacked chemistry ![]() ✔️ Age gap H is in his mid 30s and h in her mid 20s (unclear) ✔️ HEA Epilogue: 3 years later, they are married and h is a few months pregnant Their meeting, their instalove, their short separation-reunion and then we were already at their happy ending. It all went too quickly and I didn't like that. As a novella, I just didn't get to care about anything that was happening. I thought the concept could've been nice if it'd been a standalone novel instead of a novella, with more meat around the bone. She could snap my neck and I’d die happy down here. It was the same for Tabitha, she was assertive and confident which drew a nice contrast between the two of them, I just didn't feel their chemistry at all. He was besotted and very into Tabitha which I normally love but I don't know.something was missing. Spencer had potential to be interesting, with his nerdy and shy personality. ![]() Maybe if I bought more jewels and hid them around my apartment, she’d visit me again. They instantly fall in love in a very unrealistic and weird way. She gets caught by him and that's pretty much it. Put simply, Tabitha is a burglar who has for mission to steal a sapphire from Spencer's penthouse, a billionaire tech guy. It could've been good but it felt rushed, drafty and unfinished. As much as I praise Cassie Mint's concepts, this one just didn't work. Woah! This novella did absolutely nothing for me. ![]()
